I have recently created my own company with the aim of helping foreign companies develop and/or consolidate their export activities in France. I have worked 7 years in the UK as an Export Manager for 2 British companies. Thanks to my pro activity and managerial skills, I have managed over the years to turn the local transport family-run business into a reputable international logistics company. Specialized in road tankers, the company had amongst its clients prestigious names such as Cargill Foods, Pampryl (Orangina-Schweppes), Amora vinegar (Unilever group) and Bel dairies, to name a few. After 4 years in Cheshire, I moved down to London to manage the Export Department of the British leading fire extinguishers manufacturer, where I readdressed the export sales of the company in 30 countries. Back in France, I joined a Consultancy company in Paris, where I worked as a Client Manager over 5 years.
From business development to FDI…
I personally assisted more than 20 foreign companies wanting to develop their sales activities in France as well as in foreign markets in the following sectors: D.I.Y (paintbrushes/ceramic tiles/tiles cutters); Children furniture (playground equipment/wood furniture for kindergarten); Plastic industry (market study); Tubing for pharmaceutical industry; Textile (steamers)… I also got involved in franchising as she was in charge of finding a Master franchisor for a reputable US organization specialized in homecare senior services and master franchisees abroad for a top international French prêt à porter brand.
For 3 years, I worked closely with one of the most important British regional economic development agency (RDA) in order to detect French companies willing to invest in the region. (organization of road shows, business trips with senior key-decision makers).
